zzzzzzzzzz......

Oh man, am I tired. I'll try to make this a quick blog for tonight because I really am exhausted. So, this morning I woke up early around 8 to start finally packing all of my stuff. I got most of it ready to go and then went off to Sean's graduation. It started at 11. It was pretty cool and lasted until about 12:30. I feel kinda bad for Sean. He had a class that he was borderline pass/fail in, so I was making fun of him that he may not get a diploma on graduation day if he fails, and he didn't get a diploma- just a blank envelope! So that really sucks...hopefully it was just a mistake and he won't have to take any evening classes or whatever back home. Then, my parents came down right about 1pm. I was thinking that my sister's were coming and everyone was going to spend the night and hang out...guess I was wrong. Mom and Dad came and helped move stuff out, then left 3 hour later. So I was glad that they came but it seemed kinda ridculous in a sense. When they left at like 5, I took my car out to get an oil change, but couldn't find anybody open to do it so I threw a couple of quarts in there to at least last my trip tommorow. Then my car started feeling really good once it got some oil, so I decided to joy ride on 460. I pumped up some Dave, rolled down the windows and had a great ol time. I went about 30 miles west on 460 until I ran smack into a huge thunderstorm which caused me to turn back around. Other than that, the weather was immaculate! I was feeling good, so at one point, I decided to be stupid for the 2nd time in my life and max my car. I got it up to 110mph which was a huge friggin rush!!! I'm sure it's not good on my car though, so I won't practice that too oftern. So, then had dinner and whatnot and then went downtown at 8pm with Steve, Tim and Curt to enjoy my last night in Blacksburg for this year. We hit up a few places and had a good time. I'm going to miss this town :-( Yeah, and I realized how much I miss Chance already. When I came home tonight, I was anticipating opening the door and having him jump on me and play around...but he wasnt there...I'm sad. :-( So yeah, I'll probably get a dog or something one day. So, that was my day really. I'm about to go to bed now, but first some deep thoughts of the day: At graduation, the girl who won the best student award was a girl named Elizabeth Werner. I knew her...sorta! It was so weird and random seeing her. This is the deal. Freshman year in Campus Crusade, we both used o go. She had the most beautiful blond "goldylocks" hair and looked so sweet. I had a crush on her but couldn't bring myself to talk to her for months. Then, we had a singles Valentine's Day party. I went there praying that she would be there....and she was! I was so stoked! But then I went half the night and wouldn't go up to her. Then, late, I was in the kitchen and she walked in next to me. I turned bright red then babbled something to her and got her name. Then, she introduced me to her friend Doug who was in the kitchen with me and she walked away. I've never seen or talked to her since then. But, the kicker is this...Doug became one of my best friends and introduced me to Harvest where I go to church now and probably would have never known about. Then I met a different Elizabeth who is probably better than the original one that I was so crushed about in the first place. So God works in mysterious ways sometimes, as the saying goes. So, it was just so weird seeing Elizabeth Werner up on stage today for the first time in years and it reminded me of that whole history of what went down and got me to this point in my life. Deep stuff and quite interesting. :-) Now, I'm overheating the circuits...time for bed.
