to appease the blog trolls...
I'm going to blog now. I've been so busy today that I haven't had a chance, but I guess I should now before more people flip out on me. ;-P So, let's recap the day yesterday, shall we? Woke up nice and early and left with Tony for Busch Gardens at 6:30. Then we picked up Steve, then rolled down to Richmond to pick up Scott. Got him and went to Krispy Kreme and got some fresh-made, hot, yummy donuts straight from heaven. Fresh Krispy Kremes are the greatest thing known to man! :) Then after that we went over to Busch and got there about 10:30. It was a ton of fun. :) The coolest thing was, it rained the whole time, but everything stayed open. This meant that nobody was there, and I mean nobody. :) It was just enough rain to keep people away, but at the same time it wasn't constant, so there was lots of dry time in between storms too, which rocked. In the first two hours we had ridden every major ride two times. I think that's some sort of record. We actually got tired of riding the rides and left a little after 6. By the end of the day we had gone on each roller coaster like 4 or 5 times. :D It was so much fun. Highlights of the day include riding Roman Rapids during a torrential downpour and having the employees look at us like we were insane. Also, riding front-row on Apollo's Chariot (80 mph) during a rainstorm was ridiculous!! It hurt SO incredibly bad!! Oh man! To make matters worse, I think we turned masochistic, because during the heaviest thunderstorm of the day, we went on Loch Ness Monster over and over again in the front row. We got in line and were the only 4 people in line for it- I think that's a record too. So we sat in the front seat and road it about 3 times straight (were the only people on the whole ride) until we couldn't take the pain of the heavy rain anymore, lol. I've gone kooky. :) So that was pretty much the day. We were all completely soaked by the end and will probably develop pneumonia quite soon, but that's alright, we had fun. The drive home kinda sucked, there was lots of beach traffic, but I finally got back a bit after 10 and crashed.
