bloggggggggggggggggggg

...ehh, i dunno. Titling is hard work. Anyhoo, today was decent. Church was pretty cool this morning. Pastor Minter went over the book of Obadiah which was interesting and tied it into a discussion on pride which I found to be most excellent. He really touched off some good points about how bad pride can be and really got me thinking about myself. The biggest point was don't ever get too confident in yourself because God will be like "oh, yeah, you think so??...well how about this then!" and then break you and bring you to your knees. I just thought of a few things in my life recently where I was overconfident and then started sucking soon after. So I was like, "wow, that is so true!". So I gotta remember not to be prideful because God is the one to whom the glory should go and he is always better than me! Then after church I wasted some time surfing through sales flyers and then the ingenious idea of getting a canoe hit me. I had been thinking of a bass boat but the problems with that were, it's expensive, I can't move it around, it takes lost of maintenance and I'd have to leave it on Claytor all the time. So I was kinda losing interest in that idea anyhow. But then I saw a canoe in a sales flyer and I was like, hey! I could get a canoe! I could fit it on my roof, take it anywhere, not much maintenance, and much, much cheaper! So I think its official, I'm doing it. Now I just need to find me a canoe. :) So I spent the rest of the day surfing the web learning about canoes and car racks for them and also talking with Curt to find out all the goods. I think I've got everything ready to order for the car rack. Now just need the canoe. I saw a nice one in the classifieds today, I may have to go check it out this week. :) In addition to web surfing I also played a lot of guitar this afternoon which was a lot of fun. Learned a new Third Day song, finally! And that was really about it for the day. *ouch!* ....just realized there's work tommorow....ugh...oh well, it's only a 30 hour week coming up. 8P

Ah, an early post! Just right for people who refresh madly until there's something new!

Great quote. The end is especially amusing and memorable. :) I should remember this to use later to keep myself on track.

You're such a charmer with words.

Also, great idea with the canoe! That seems much more practical than a bass boat and you could get one sooner probably.

What Third Day song?
